Salty Pancake

Often the simplest recipes are the best and most compatible with a wide variety of products.

Today we want to present you salty pancakes! They are used to accompany your favorite meals or as a snack.

With few ingredients and in no time they are ready!


1 egg
100 ml of water
10 ml extra virgin olive oil
about a tablespoon, more to taste, for the cooking
120 g flour 00
or 130 g of rice flour
3 g baking powder
a teaspoon, or a pinch of baking soda
fine salt


Break the egg into a bowl and beat it with a fork.

Add the extra virgin olive oil, water, flour, yeast, and salt.

Mix all the ingredients with a whisk until the mixture is smooth and without lumps.

Pour the extra virgin olive oil into a non-stick pan and heat it up for about a minute. With the help of a spoon, pour the mixture into the hot oil and shape the pancake. About 2 tablespoons of dough will be needed for each pancake.

Cook the pancakes about a minute and a half per side. Once the pancakes are cooked, serve them immediately on the table and enjoy them alone or accompanied by your favorite cold cuts and cheeses.
